Hey guys! My name is Marquis Evans and I’ve been an actor for nearly 20 years. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on so many AMAZING projects and I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained along my acting journey. If there’s one question I hear more than anything in this business it’s “How do I become an actor?” Well, in order to become an actor, you just need to be cast in a few projects where you have lines and BOOM you’re an actor. BUT, that won’t be enough. Anybody can recite a few lines, but does the audience BELIEVE you. That’s where I come in. Think about all the great actors out there. Each and every one of them spent time training with a coach to perfect their craft and become believable on camera. It takes HARD WORK and commitment. In order to become a BRILLIANT actor, you have to spend time TRAINING, and it never stops. There are hundreds of thousands of aspiring actors out there and the sad truth is that more than half will quit and work a 9-5 giving up on their dreams. Are you going to be that actor that quits before you even get started? Or, are you going to work really hard to pursue this passion of yours. Our lessons will focus on your needs as an actor. This isn’t going to be you reading from a script for an hour and me telling you how well you did. You will be getting honest feedback and helpful critique that will push you to make stronger acting choices. You are going to have to work hard. We will come up with game plans for your future while working on your craft.
